Nick Asante is currently a senior at Richard Montgomery High School. Last year, Ananya ran for Student Member of the Board (SMOB) and won the election, defeating a field of eleven other candidates.  Nick served as Chief of Staff of MCR-SGA (Montgomery County Regional Student Government Association) from 2019-2020. Nick earned 6,404 votes of the 10,882 cast in the 2020 general election, winning with 59 percent of the votes.
